Membership Categories

Facility Member (non-profit):  Non-profit nursing homes, homes for the aged, assisted living, housing facilities, continuing care retirement communities and service organizations whose primary purpose is service to the aging.  Membership connects you to advocacy, education, products and services essential to your success.  Contact our offices today to learn how a full voting membership can advance the continuing growth of your organization

Facility Member (for-profit):  Facility subscribership shall be available to nursing homes, assisted living/homes for the aged, housing facilities and service organizations wishing to participate in Aging Services of Michigan activities and receive mailing and education program announcements.  Facility subscribers are ineligible to serve on the Board of Directors and do not have voting authority.  Contact our offices today to learn how membership can advance your organization.

Home and Community Based Service Organizations (non-profit):  Subscribership is available to for-profit organizations that are interested in the objectives of Aging Services of Michigan and providing services to the elderly living independently in areas such as; home health care providers, assisted transportation, home delivered meals, homemaker, household chores, mental health, preventative health, and respite care. Community service subscribers are not eligible to serve on the Aging Services of Michigan Board of Directors nor are they eligible to vote. Home and Community Based Service Organizations(for-profit):  Subscribership is available to for-profit organizations that are interested in the objectives of Aging Services of Michigan and providing services to the elderly living independently in areas such as; home health care providers, assisted transportation, home delivered meals, homemaker, household chores, mental health, preventative health, and respite care.  Community service subscribers are not eligible to serve on the Aging Services of Michigan Board of Directors nor are they eligible to vote. Business Partner:  Organization which is interested in the objectives and purposes of the Aging Services of Michigan and which provides goods and services to Members.  Membership is available in a non-voting membership category, ineligible to serve on the Board of Directors.  Contact our offices today to learn how membership can advance your organization.

Business Partner Branch Office:  Organization which is interested in the objectives and purposes of the Aging Services of Michigan and which provides goods and services to Members.  Discounted membership is available to branch offices in a non-voting membership category, ineligible to serve on the Board of Directors.  Contact our offices today to learn how membership can advance your organization.

Individual Subscriber:  Individuals who are interested in the objectives and purposes of Aging Services of Michigan and who has professional training or experience in the provision of nursing home, home for aged, adult foster care or subsidized housing services to elderly persons may be come and Individual Member.
